I'll have to keep an eye out for you at Quaker Boy Calls at the fall show. I'm almost sure I talked to you if you were there last fall because I was looking for a moose call to learn the basics of calling.

Still working on my moose calling. I guess there isn't anywhere to learn first hand except experimenting in the field.

Hey 340, I had a friend that took up moose calling & use to practice on his cattle. When he could get his cattle to come to the barn by doing his cow call<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> he thought he had it figured out (he has not missed a year since 1982 getting his moose. 17 bulls, 2 cows & counting).

340 , I would think it was me , some good news here , I designed a Moose Call with QuakerBoy and it will be out this summer. The call will fit in your pocket and sounds great. There is a audio tape that comes with it aswell on how to use it...BT

I might look stupid but I'll have to try mtbyak's advice and head up to the cattle farms near me.

Could to hear a compact call is coming out, that horn I bought last year was too big and hard to use. I found I got a better effect by using my hands instead. Looking forward to the fall show.

I must apologize to everyone. I have been working incredibly hard on my exisiting biz, while starting two more, and I forgot that I left this post.

I may have a booth at next years show for my new biz. Who won the retriever trails, was it a threepeat?
