the ultra slug hunters do have a bull barrel on them. as far as the weight, there is a 2 lb weight in the rear stock that comes out and does not give any more recoil and does not affect the accuracy...

if yoour worried about the weight of the H&R there is a 2-3 pound weight in the stock. take it out. the recoil is the same and it doesn't affect the accuracy.
