Hunting Pressure?

I was just wondering if the hunting pressure from Gun season is from the noise of the guns or the fact that there are more hunters in the woods combined with the style of hunting. By style I mean,...

RE: dual or solo cams

I know Hoyt is abandoning single cam bows all together. Their new line of Bows are all dual cam… What does that mean, I don’t know, But it does seem like they are putting all their eggs in one...

RE: What would you do?

Depends on what they are hunting for. I know too many people in my county that hunt because they need meat on the table not for the sport of it. But if this is not the case try and get to a QDM...

RE: Bowhunter survives treestand fall Saved by phone

I walked a 1/2-mile back to my car to get my safety strap this past Sunday on the last day of NYS early bow season. And I do carry my cell phone, but it has been in my fanny pack, now it will be in...

RE: Stalking deer with bow

I think when the conditions are not the best for stand hunting I would stalk. When it is raining, real windy, fresh snow or unseasonably warm the tables turn slightly in the hunters favor. Rain...

RE: What do ya think??

I think deer are smart enough to figure out where there is less hunting pressure in any area. They often bed down in the thickest, hardest to access places on any given property anyway, so why can’t...

RE: Perfection

You must go through a ton of arrows shooting at the end of them, How ddo you even see then at 30 yards? Try Shooting a 3 or a 5 spot target. It will save you a lot of money on arrows!

RE: Availability of bucks 125+

I think that every deer taken with a Bow, or gun for that matter is a trophy. I think too many hunters are worried about taking a “Book Trophy” 140+ deer. You could hunt in an area your whole life,...
