In reply to fishbait, I have heard many negitive reports on barnett crossbows also. That's why I bought an EXCALIBUR VORTEX and I am very happy with it. I know I made the right choice.

Be very carefull changeing primers in a ginen load. Especially in a near maxium load as the primer can add a couple thousand psi. to that load.

wetpwdr Try different brands of pellets. The gun will tell you what it likes. Do not use a regular scope on an air rifle. They don't like the double recoil. Use only air rifle scopes.
