I load almost all my own steel shot loads
But don't load 3 1/2" 12 gau
As more often than not
I shoot decoying ducks and geese with a 2 3/4" 1 oz load at 1550 FPS
Oh I do back it up with a 3"13/16 oz load at 1500 FPS

johnch: Is it possible to buy and reload shotshells with the increased density expensive non-toxic shot pellets -- 12 g/cc, substantially the same density as lead -- such as Hevishot and/or Remington HD? Also, are tools for reloading 10 gauge shotshells reasonably available?
