yea the accubond is awesome, used it on a bull elk in 180 grain 30-06, droped him in his tracks at 250 yards. also used the same bullet on whitetail and at about 100 yards it left a 1 1/2 inch exit wound. i think its the pefect blend of expansion and penetration

I shot a bull elk with the 225 grain accubond out of my 338 RUM this year at 375 yards. I recoverd the bullet in between the hide and the far shoulder. It appears to have held a lot of the weight and performed well (perfect mushroom). I am leaving for a week of deer hunting in WI tonight and will weight it and report back when I return. I will try to include a picture also. My uncle also shot a bull at 80-100 yards with a 225 grain accubond out of a 338 WIN. The first shot was a perfect shot and the bull jumped up and took a few steps so my uncle sent another one into his neck and the bull didn't take another step.
