What is lake city match brass?Is it a better quality of brass?

Should be brass that came from the Lake City military arsenault. It should be slightly thicker than factory (Win, Rem, Fed) brass.

I think LC brass has crimped-in primers. You will need to remove the crimp with a special tool prior to repriming.

I have never reloaded LC brass myself but some people I know that reload swear by it.

LC has primer pocket crimp, LC match does not. Back off starting loads by about 2 gr. because of lower case capacity than commercial brass. Good for use in military autoloaders as they tend to be brutal on brass.

Both .308 and .30-06 brass have that problem.....the 308 is the worst. It' s easy to overload these brass cases...but they' re fine cases...go ahead and use them.
