3006 brass
What is lake city match brass? Is it a better quality of brass?

RE: 3006 brass
Should be brass that came from the Lake City military arsenault. It should be slightly thicker than factory (Win, Rem, Fed) brass.

RE: 3006 brass
I think LC brass has crimped-in primers. You will need to remove the crimp with a special tool prior to repriming.
I have never reloaded LC brass myself but some people I know that reload swear by it. |
RE: 3006 brass
LC has primer pocket crimp, LC match does not. Back off starting loads by about 2 gr. because of lower case capacity than commercial brass. Good for use in military autoloaders as they tend to be brutal on brass.
