I finally decided that I needed to add a chronograph to my setup. Anyone have any reccomendations? I don't want to spend a fortune on one.
I have had three. An ITCC (no longer made) an Oehler (still have it), and a Shooting Chrony. The Chrony is the least expensive, and it is just as accurate as any of the others, in addition to be very easy & fast to set up.......

I bought my first crono in the 70's... an Oehler... I've had one brand or another around ever since then, and they just keep getting better, cheaper and easier to use...

To be honest, these days i don't thing there's all that much difference in accuracy between the brand name ones. I think, justpick the model that has the features you want, and buy it...

Eld, I have used 3, the F1, Millenium, and ProChrony. My F1 does something the others do not do. In the evening without sunlight, I get +200fps readings. I know they are bogus. But wondered if any others have this issue? I took JamesB advise and shot thru the pro and it seems much more stable.

wondering if anyone else saw this?

I use the Chrony F1. I like it. If I shot more I would need one with a few more bells and whistles.
