Default Which Chronograph?

I finally decided that I needed to add a chronograph to my setup. Anyone have any reccomendations? I don't want to spend a fortune on one.

I have theCompetition Electronics ProChrono Digital Chronograph - easy to use, accurate, good price -very pleased. Minorpeeve the fact the face/display can't be removed for shooting saboted loads from a ML. I'veseen what happens when a sabot connects with the display and it ain't pretty. Shooting Chrony Masters have such an option though I like the ProChrono(having used both).I just place a stop in front of the screen(brick actually) and review the data after the group - it holds 99 shots so no biggie!

Good luck

I have a Crony Beta Master with the remote display, works fine for me and didn't cost a fortune either.

+2. Whatever you get, spend the extra for the remote display.

For the money I like the chrony's...I suppose
a lot depends on your use of it..Some want a
print out,etc...All I want to know is the velocity
and maybe the spread,etc..I don't need the printer..
Good luck in your decision...

I have an F1, and its ok. As long as the is alot of light. And gets flakey in the evening without good light.

I myself would rather have a ProChrony. My buddy Mossyoak33 on here got one and works very well

The Chrony Beta Master has served me well. However, if I were in the market for a new one today I'd give the CED Millenium 2 a look. Seems to be a better overall unit from what I've read. Course it costs more too though.
