For 270win, I have loaded 140gr accubonds with 56-58gr of IMR7828. Recoil is heavy for a 270 but somewhere around 56gr, is acceptable accuracy, but never found awesome accuracy. I myself, will try H4831sc next.

53.5 gr of IMR 4831 has proven to be awesome in my 270. Actually, I can load 51.5, 52.5, and 53.5 gr of IMR 4831 and still get around an inch out of all of them. I have only ever tested 140 Accubonds in mine, they were so accurate I couldnt see trying anything else. I am getting an average of .75-1" with the 53.5 load depending on the weather.

Well , I’m not sure which 270 you’re asking about so I’ll through mine into the hat. I reload for my 270 WSM with 140 gr. Accubond bullets and 64.6gr of H4831sc. It’s a hot load and well over max. Should be used with caution...
