south central ontario processors - need peperettes!
I have way too much caribou meat from my trip to Quebec last november!
I'm eating it but friends that don't hunt are scared by the smell - I tell them everything smells different like pork smells different than beef but they are scardy cats. I have very little freezer space so I am inconviencing friends and want to get it out of their freezers.
I'm looking for a butcher that can take 50-100lbs of steaks and make peperettes, jerky, more sausage, etc so it will keep better. Any recommendations of good butchers - I routinely travel Toronto to Gravenhurst, spend lots of time in Wasaga beach and Orillia. Let me know if you have had good experiances with a fair priced butcher that makes good stuff.
Before anyone says "send it to me", if you are going to be in the Younge and 401 area of Toronto PM me and I'll give you my cell #, if you catch me at home and want to stop by I'll gladly offer you a beer and a couple of caribou steaks.
