All Gun Hunting guests will stay at The San Man Motel just minutes from our farms.
Archery hunters will arrive and stay at the award winning San-Man motel, minutes from all hunting grounds.
Meals are not provided.
I have multiple portable, Pre-hung tree stands with over 25 different hunting locations, with several stand sites at each location available to hunt. (You may bring your own tree stand and four wheelers).
We offer a wide mixture of the most superb whitetail deer hunting in Southern, Ontario. Our Properties consist of 1900 acres of private ground, which is scouted, for whitetail deer. Our large territory of private land allows us to regulate and harvest quality deer year after year. Most hunting will be done from Tree stands, Ladder stands and ground blinds. Our stand locations overlook prime habitat and under certain circumstances, we use the spot and stalk methods.
Our deer herds are wild. We manage our deer herds by planting food plots, providing supplements, and harvesting mature does.
The Shot Gun season is during the rut, which allows for super successful hunting. Our bucks annually score in the 120" to 140" range with some scoring larger. Success rates are in the range of 40% - 50% rate. With archery success rates being closer to 50% - 50%.
The mixture in hunting terrain allows our clients to select a hunt that suits their expectations and hunting abilities. Ontario offers a Province wide buck-only license for Non-residents. Resident hunters may get up to six tags for the areas we hunt. Guiding hunters is my business, and I am determined to create a successful hunt for my clients. Whitetail hunts are available in, Semi-inclusive with Shotgun, muzzleloader, and archery.
All hunting grounds are private. Managed seasonal feeding, and thousands of acres of surrounding forage make this area ideal for Whitetail Deer. Our main hunting terrain consists of mixed brush, hardwood lots, field and swamp edges, draws, and funnels. This gives us a chance to provide an opportunity that is available to the bow hunter, and gun hunter.
There are a number of mature bucks available to harvest in the area. Ontario allows deer hunters to feed and bait the deer, for the opportunity to choose your game wisely before taking. This is an option to you when booking or upon arriving with us. There are no size restrictions. Their are many outdoor/hunting supply store's in the local cities. This is a 100% fair chase hunting opportunity.
