I got an email from Natchez SS where I ordered my Nikon Omega, and the have 2.5-10x50 and 2.5-10X56 Weaver scopes with illuminated reticles for $259 and $269 respectfully!!!! These scopes LIST for $800-900 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know how these compare to a Nikon Monarch????--DrAsus

Weaver, made by Meade, probably Chinese or Korean. I'll take a Bushnell Elite 4200 for about $260 over the Weaver all day long. I've never understood the fascination with the illuminated reticle, if the glass is good enough to see the deer at dusk dark you can shoot him with a #4 German or a Multi-X.

I’m not to sure about the scopes in questioned but I know that my Weaver Grand Slam scopes are excellent for the price. The Weavers I have are made in Japan if I’m not mistaken...
