BUNK! Considering I live here and spend countless time in those hills and on the lake I can attest that there is an enormous population of coyotes. But, alas, in all my miles every winter in the hills, on the lake, in the valleys, etc. I've never once seen a track that could even come close to a mountain lion. Now, we have bobcats around here and there. There's a fair population of bears. But there are no lions in Warren county.

Cougars have a home range of something like 100 sq. miles.....why/how would a population of these cats be together in a small area? They wouldn't, they aren't, and until I see some valid proof stories like these are nothing more than BUNK!

They are reallllllly sneaky[:@]But honestly, the last one starved to death,couldn't find that big doe & even a lion knows not to kill a little buck.

yes ther are DEFINATELY mountain lions in PA, as soon as ya get a picture of one though and even if ya call the game commision they tell ya theyl look into it take your picture, destroy it and youl never here back from them, more than you think around, they are well documented also, but most people arent in the woods enough to ever see one

I've heard all kinds of reports of big cats in the woods. They may be there but I feel if there really were cats in the state, the PGC would start selling a license.

C'mon--someone please post that pic of the mule deer ready to jump on the deer and claim it was taken on the next farm over in NY. I have not seen it for at least a month, and it's due to re-surface!!
