AKA,I' m serious about that hook up on their trucks. They are slobs. They also drive around at night spotlighting and have their kids in the back of the pickup shooting deer with bows. I can remember in the hay day when there were lots of deer around here they would put huge drives on. They would drive the deer in to a open field and it sounded like world war 3. They all would shoot untill the deer were all down or run off. No one new who shot what deer. They just divided them up. I seen them come past my house with deer hanging all over there vehicles. There was more blood on their vehicle then paint. Then they go up to their garage and drink beer and butcher all night. They have a private butcher shop in the back of their repair garage business.

I agree with caredeer. No one is trying to be a smartass here, just explaining the way some of the measures people will go to, to kill deer. Eastwood, wether you believe us or not, I don' t care. However, in heavily populated areas where deer collisions are common alot of citizens will in fact reinforce the front of their trucks with steel plating. I myself have never seen the rebar but have seen alot of reinforced front ends. I have also seen people swerve to hit deer knowing that no harm will come to their vehicle. I also am not saying that this is absolutely 100 percent the only reason this law is in place. There isn' t just one reason but rather a large number of different factors that come into play when putting a law into place. All I am saying is that this could be one factor that could tip the scales in favor of the law. Oh yeah, too bad you need flying boots to bag a deer.

cardeer,

hey man, i believe you. its not like you have ever posted anything that is untrue. if i had a bunch of deer, i would just throw them in the back of my truck. i wouldnt bother with hanging them all over the place. the decorator must have been female. females like to decorate things, she must have been decorating thier vehicles with spears and deers! get it! spears n' deers! that would be a good name for a hunting show! so thats the second time you made reference to drinking beer. they drink beer while outfitting thier trucks with midevil spears and while butchuring deer. maybe the beer is what makes them evil. i bet they listen to that rock and roll garbage also. i wonder if thier eyes glow red at night? well, i hope you stay out of harms way down there in the land that god forgot.

bearklr,

you have seen people swerve to intentionally hit deer? how do you know they didnt swerve to miss the deer? ive seen people swerve their cars to miss other cars but end up hitting the car they tried to miss. call me crazy but i have never heard of people putting thier life in danger, when there are so many varialbles involved, to actually swerve thier moving vehicle into the path of a deer with the hopes that they will actually cause a collision, not knowing what the outcome will be, not knowing how the vehicel is going to react, not knowing where the deer is going to end up. and another thing, these " steel reinforced plates" that are welded on to these bumpers, they have to be pretty heavy right? i mean a steal plate that runs the lenth of a truck has got to weigh several hundreds of pounds. so somthing would have to be done about the suspension right. atleast the suspension and front axle. otherwise these vehicles would be practically impossible to control. especially swerving across the road at night driving 60 miles an hour. sounds like alot of trouble just to run over deer. and lastly, why?? why would someone do this. say someone actually makes contact with a 4x6 steel blunt surface going 60 miles miles an hour, the skin would be full of mush.

also, i just re-read your post

I really get pissed when I see a guy hit a nice deer as I' m walking out of the woods from a full day of hunting and seeing nothing.
so your saying that as your walking about of the woods, guys drive by and run over deer in front of you?

p.s. bearklr,

read cardeers post in this following link.

[link]http://forum.hunting.net/asppg/tm.asp?m=434119&p=1&tmode=1&smode=1[/link]

could you imagine if the answer the lady gave was, " well the reason we charge $10 per point is becasue we dont want the public driving around in reinforced vehicles intentionally running over deer."

LOL!

I' m sure there are a few horse' s asses that hit deer intentionally. However, if the $10 a point rule is to PREVENT that kind of activity, why is it not posted anywhere??? You don' t deter people with some weird rule that hardly anyone ever heard of. I still say something' s fishy with this law.

At 10 dolloars a point if you run over a booner on e-bay you can get up t0 1000.00 for it a Poper 200-250 bucks. Check out e-bay Good profit with the proper built vehicle. I seen heads on the flesh for sale already on e-bay. The add goes something like Fresh kill 180 booner Auction for 10 days no reserve price,Shipping 25.00 packed in Ice.

OK. First I think if a one ton pickup can handle a ton of payload then a 300 pound steel plate wouldn' t be too much to worry about. Second, I' m not talking about brand new cadillac escalades here, I' m talking about 150$ pieces of crap that people don' t care about. Third, you don' t have to be flying down the road going 60 miles and hour like hell on wheels to kill a deer. And fourth I know people swerve to hit deer because they will be standing right off to the right side of the road just grazing and these trucks sure as heck don' t swerve to the left. And by the way. I am not saying that I actually see someone hit a deer as I am walking out of the woods. It is an exagerated comment just to show my distaste for those that road hunt while the rest of us put our time in and actually earn our deer.

And here is link to a ton of capes on ebay
