We had are best season ever, i got a nice 7 pointer, and my dad got a nice 8 pointer, they were killed within 24 hours of each other, and about 100 yards apart on opening weekend (nov 21) they were rutted up like crasy.
Im beyond happy, both were mature bucks, and both were are biggest ever.

My dad And me.

Me with my best buck

Both bucks

Got a 5 pointer on opening morning. Didn't see anything from my stand and then started to walk at about 10:30. Walked up to within 15 feet of this buck when I shot him. He must have been bedded behind some blown down trees. I think it's the same buck I saw a few weekends ago while turkey hunting.

Shot this buck 9:00 on the first day. Actually hit the can to a different buck and he showed up with a doe. You just never know what going to happen when your in the woods I guess.

I shot a 1.5 year old 8 point opening day...

Haven't seen any monsters in the woods myself, but there have been a bunch of nice bucks taken here in Steuben Co. the first few days of season..

Friends of mine mine who do deer processing have had a record year for bow season, and have had more deer than ever for the first weekend of season...

SOMEBODY must be finding them...
