they split the wco territory up,they never filled the local wco position.they just cant do it without our help.but when you help you have to know the facts.i had good friend of mine hunting in turtle point area at night.he saw guy peeking at him while he was hunting.he shot 8 shots at midnight.he packed up and drove by guy in camp and waved at him.he got home and 3 trucks blocked his driveway.wco and deputys.they said, OK WHERE ARE DEER .GEORGE SAID, YOU MEAN THESE 8 FOXhe shot 3 fox in 1 spot in 15 minutes.the wco was very mad.overtime etc.as far as i know george is law abiding hunter too.new wco did not know him.our local wco knew everybody and outlaws.not to say a informer is not outlaw, i can name a few that report people and are biggest outlaws in area.thats so wco will leave them alone but most can see thru that lie.

this is why i try to keep my identity kind of hidden on here.you are right, felons and others will pay you back,it has happened to me, i had truck door kicked in, yard ripped up because i tried to stop DOE HUNTING....just think what would happen if i had 1 arrested for poaching, i bet my camp would be burned down/tires slit/paint remover on my new truck.threatening calls at midnight had those a few years ago..you would not believe the people i see road hunting,my friends too that are loaded with loaded guns road hunting.i just shake my head when they stop to talk.

we have real problem with booze/drugs,for sure....

Go get em Sproul! We need more guys like you helping the WCO's with their eyes and ears.

Maybe if we had that license increase that your USP buddies are fighting, the PGC could fill that vacant WCO position

While poaching is a problem and we should all do whatever we can to stop it , it is not the reason why the herd was reduced in 2G and stopping all poaching in 2G will not result in the herd increasing. Harvests that exceeded recruitment reduced the herd and the only thing that will allow the herd to increase is harvests that are less than recruitment.

It doesnt get any more incorrect than that. The HUNTERS of this state do not support a fee increase. Not just usp. And secondly the money spent on that wco would be secondary to all the problems that money would create. It would be spent on propaganda designed to cut the hunters throats more than pgc already has. More brainwashing, more force feeding the public, perhaps hiring some more "windmill biologists" lmao, and the unfettered ability to ignore the hunters even more than currently with sufficient funding and even more unnecessary hr in the name of ridiculous biodiversity. Even moreso than has occurred already.

Why not just pay pgcs best friends these days at audubon and hsus to manage our deer herd? May as well if we are prepared to give the current boc and "biology" staff at pgc more money. They arent a helluva lot more hunter friendly than the aforementioned.

He might be playing with his hand gun too often to issue him a weapon.

OK I'll use my own hand gun if they just let me have a new truck with one of them fancy deer haulers on the back.

My gun suits me just fine.

You get a crow bone stuck in yer beak?

Now you're saying that unchecked year around killing of deer has little or no effect on herd numbers yet the regulated and counted killing in legal seasons does?
Even for you this is ridiculous.

That isn't even close to what I said. I simply stated that stopping all poaching in 2G would not result in the herd increasing ,since the PGC would just issue more doe tags to keep the herd stable.
