I watched two bucks fight for nearly 20 minutes 5 days ago. They were scent checking the does when they took a breather. One of them was a VERY WIDE 6 point. He was 3-4" past his ears on both sides and I had over an hour and a half to look at him. He never got closer than 50 yards.

but he might today . . .

BTW-I did harvest another doe on Saturday. She was pregnant -- I still have the proof.

fond memories of hunting OLNEY,MD in 1970s..

i took many a big buck, 1 was 13 point with 24 inch spread, all on privateland in archery..
i saw over 100 deer in field i hunted in one evening..
25 werebucks andhuge horns.

i dont have any relatives there now,is hunting still good in montgomery county?
Olney is over-abundant with deer. If you can hunt anywhere there with a bow you will be slamming some deer. There are still some nice racks there on a regular basis. To this day, a buddy of mine saw the largest buck he has ever seen right there near Trotters Glen Golf Course.

i lived on GOLDMINE RD in olney..
there was a catholic rectory accross road..
i saw many times huge bucks in there, no hunting allowed..

my sister used to get horns stuck in her snow blower in winter, she used to remove snow in her yard so her boxers could run around and play ...

my biggest buck ever, 24 inch spread came from OLNEY..
i was deadly then with my bear kodiack with zwickey points and cedar arrows..
boy, could i shoot a recurve ,not as sharp now as i am out of shape.now using BLACK WIDOW recurve as it has let0off which i like very much..
