Not bad for a bunch of guys in the sixties.
they drove over 10 miles of steep side hills in youngwomans creek for a week.
they know how to get in out of drives without killing themselves, young guys do pushing but that area, you still have to hike to get on watch..
their camp is located at bottom of left branch of youngwomens creek.
i just got back from 3 camps in kettle creek area.
these camps are die hard hunters, same been there for long time..
out of 43 members in 3 camps, they killed, 3 doe and 1 buck for the whole first week of deer, yes thats right,3/1..
1 camp used to get 5/7 buck the first day alone.
lets stick to my topic on HOW TO SCARE DEER AWAY ..
we are getting off it and i need advice, shirt idea is working, i was out again today on my camp tours and not seeing deer near those shirts..
BRUT really does work,ha.....

Season's over now so all the deer have to worry about is those darn cougars and all those coyotes with Insurance Co ear tags.

this is my favorite season to hunt a buck,i wont be doing it this year.
yes, wewill be hunting coyotes starting next week.
if you look at the PGC paper they just put out, will show 1 of our coyotes that was shot first day of bear.
it was BLONDE one.
i have yet to get BLACK,i will ,in time.

1) they are not your deer, they just happen to be passing thru on your property
2) as they continue you continue to call law enforcement if they are doing it on your property
3) if it is a pipe line they are coming out on chances are its not your property but the property of those that own the pipeline.
here in nc if a power line or rail road runs thru or near your property you dont own that land the rail or power co. does.
I hunt gamelands and it is close (100 to 200 yds away)to private property if i shoot one on gamelands and it goes back to the private land i have the right to retrieve that animal as well as that is my duty to finish what i started...

You cannot go on private land without permission for any reason including game recovery.
Every state is different - don't know of any that allow you to shoot across property lines and then recover.

Here in ny, you still own the land - the company has a right of way and cannot grant rights of trespass.

my cousin OWNS pipeline here near his property,he even put a fence accross it with gate.
he gave key to the gas co/electric co. they have RIGHT OF WAY ONLY.
as for getting permiision you MUST have WRITTEN PERMISSION to go on private property here in pa.
if you put a treestand up on PRIVATELAND,you must have WRIITEN PERMISSION to put it up and a WCO can come into privateproperty and arrest you EVEN if you had VERBAL permission to be there.
if tree is damaged on PRIVATELAND from tree steps/climber/little screws to hold your gun/cutting off limbs, a WCO can come into property and arrest you for damaging tree UNLESS the landowner gave you WRIITEN PERMISSION to damage tree..
if WCO comes in and you dont haveWRIITEN PERMISSION to be there or to damage a tree,he can arrest you and fine will be over 500 dollars ..
getting theWRIITEN PERMISSION later will not help get rid of violation, you MUST have it in writing at time of offense..
i think its TITLE 34 in rule book.........

man ya'll got it bad up there...
Steve...no i dont hunt close to private property it is also illegal here to be on gamelands and shoot into private property, some here in nc will do that but i prefer to stay far enough away from PP that with a properly placed shot they shouldnt get to the private land.
ps... no wonder Pa WCO's get shot at.

al..f,some people are baiting in deer/turkeys/bear here in pa. on PRIVATELAND.
usually when you get book thrown at you for the violations i stated its because they have idea BAITING is going on.
you would be surprised at people doing it, a lot are lawyers, doctors, real estate people etc.
the PGC allowed BAITING in certain areas this year to wipe out doe,so now people think they can bait almost everywhere..
its like flintlock season coming, you would be surprised at people walking around with INLINE muzzleloaders.
law says only FLINTLOCKS.
PGC makes these things easy for violaters, like now you can shoot after sunset in dark..
i walk into woods with light on my hat now and out with light, then PGC talks about safety..'
