I hunt NH and NH is a "right to hunt state" meaning any and I do mean any land that is not posted ( and 80% is not posted) is open to hunting as long as you are 150 from a road and 300 ft from a house.

thanks for help everyone, stinky shirts seem to be working real good..
snow is leaving but i think i have around 9 deer left onmy land.

i had 18 this fall on there ,so, i feel that 9 or 10 have been shot..
i did not find 1 fawn track,i had 5 fawns ,i believe they were shot.

wire is going up in spring along roads, this should help and i am planting spruce trees all along road as per info from others..

this way they will not be able to see into my land from road.

some of the landowners are stacking trees and stumps near roads 10 ft high so hunters cant see into fields.

i remember when WCO years ago used tro drag a chains behind his truck in sgl field at kettle creek, back then it was not a SGL field, their was 100 deer in that field in morning..

when you got there, deer were all gone,up on hills.

he was great WCO ,good friend and sadly missed...

man ya'll got it bad up there...
Steve...no i dont hunt close to private property it is also illegal here to be on gamelands and shoot into private property, some here in nc will do that but i prefer to stay far enough away from PP that with a properly placed shot they shouldnt get to the private land.
ps... no wonder Pa WCO's get shot at.

Al...F,

Dont mistake Sproulmans "special little part of the world " as representative of the state of PA. Only a very select few have had experiences anything like he's had.
