Well, that was a pleasant and usefulcontribution to the thread.
As I recall, it was posts like that one that led to his no longer being allowed to post on that site (and several others). Actually, most of his posts were similar to that one and he ain't learned much about playin' well with others on this site either.

My Christmas present to the Mods here and elsewhere!

3. Immediately implement a plan tosurvey hunters both via the PGC Web site and by yearly surveys sent out with hunting licenses. Actively solicit on-line comments to any and all future proposed regulation changes. Provide a direct link on the main page of the PGC website to summaries of all of these results.
2. Answer all email inquiries to the agency with something other than a %$&*#*ing canned response, must be minimally one person assigned to this task and that can do proper research into and/or forward/assign inquiries to appropriate individuals within the agency for an answeras well asbe the central point of response to the hunters with detailedanswers.
1. Do someserious, detailed, and immediate research into how some other states (similar in physical size) are able to runtheir agencies with less resources and bellyaching from their hunters.

As for #2 and #3 I don't see a problem with them.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Check stations are a viable method of record in many states. You don't need a Game warden to man a check station. N.J has check stations all over the place. Gas stations, general stores etc. Remember, your not looking to fine or cite anyone, simply record type of deer (Male/Female), county where killed, Antler count, date of kill, etc.
Other states do it rather effectivly. Why can't Pennsylvania? Or is it because the agency doesn't want an accurate count???
