for needed changes in the Deer MisMangement program? You outta state guys can offer suggestions as well, maybe you have programs that are working in your states that we don't know about.

1. Eliminate Bonus Tags/ Raise license fee to 12.00 to offset costs.

2. Remove the junior and military hunters special priveledge to kill spike bucks. There is no need to teach kids its okay one year to kill a spike then when they turn 18 the have to change habits again. Also in this rule make
a 4point rule statewide.

3. Change Antlerless season to the last 4 days of gun season.

1. Eliminate bonus tags for doe.

2. Tags buck or doe, not antlerless and make hunters respondsible for their actions. Button bucks should be tagged as a buck.

3. Eliminate doe season from the 2 week of rifle and implement that 3 day or a week of doe during early October before they are bred.

1 Keep AR the way it is for now. That includes the extra incentive for juniors in by improving their odds for success.

2 Continue to decrease doe tag allocations where HR has brought deer densities down too far

3Sell allthe timber that can be cut while still maintaining a sustainable yield to improve habitat and help with the funding problems

1. Have some sort of tag system for Mentored Youth. Not a home made tag that anyone can hang on a deer and say that a youth shot the deer. This will be important starting next year.

2. Make report cards mandatory for each tag. Even if the tag is not used it should mandatory to fill it out and report no kill. We need accurate kill numbers.

3. With the accurate kill numbers created by the above report cards, derive the doe license allotment on a more localised area and split between public and private land. Some areas like the area I hunt will need bonus tags to keep the herd in check.

Ok, I'll take a stab at this too.

1. 4pt on one side, state wide.
2. Eliminate the concurrent season and go back to the traditional 3 day doe season, maybe the last three days of the two weeks.
3. Allow Sunday hunting in archery season.

1. Start a JTPA work program for youths 16 and older to help with wildlife management. Helping with clear cutting and planting of seeds. Why pay people 15 to 20$ an hr to do work that youths can perform for min wage. Plus the kids learn about habitat all so. Start trimming some fat I would say.

2. Eliminate all youth mentor hunting programs except for squirrels. Why discourage them when they don't see any game? Atleast they should see squirrels to shoot at.

3. Have a predator hunt three or four times a year totry andget the predators under control. Have trapping for predators 365 days a year. Yotes and foxes.

4. Close some WMUs GLdown for a few yearsfrom hunting small game to see if they can get the population back up. If it works ,Close others down and then alternate the years they can be hunted. Most WMUs have atleast six GL on them. Most I said not all.

The fourth one was directed for small game.

Just throwing in a few comments, I can't prove my theory on this but knowing deer are very adaptable creatures, just how long does it take for animals to realize peopleare outthere to kill 'em? Now that almost everyone is out there shooting at antlerless deer as soon as the regular season opens they learn the habits of the ol' timers who survive year to year. Yes, deer do make mistakes and that's how the majority of them get shot every year. I distinctly remember a farm I used to hunt where, on any given day, I would see a group of doe that didn't seem affected by the hunters in the area. That's just not seen lately in my experience, they hole up and change their daily routine like the buck do. Sure is a lot of roadkill deer yet so I don't believe the population is that low, although I'm sure a lot more are taken than inyears past.I don't know why antlerless tags are less than flintlock, archery, etc...And i'd agree on limiting amount an individual can get, and upping the price of theminstead of an increase in cost of a basic license. Again, this only my 2 cents
