Check stations are a viable method of record in many states. You don't need a Game warden to man a check station. N.J has check stations all over the place. Gas stations, general stores etc. Remember, your not looking to fine or cite anyone, simply record type of deer (Male/Female), county where killed, Antler count, date of kill, etc.

Other states do it rather effectivly. Why can't Pennsylvania? Or is it because the agency doesn't want an accurate count???
