Default Hang question

Whats the max temp to hang dear after harvest to not spoil.I was curious about this because of the butchers who have no large freezers for the deer to put in to keep cold. The weather been nice here and we butchered the ones we got the same night because of the weather.Wondering what the butchers do with the deer they get with no huge meat lockers?

If it is higher than 45 I do not like to let a deer wait long. You can stuff the body cavity with bagged ice. You can skin and quarter and put in the fridge or coolers with ice. I had to one time stuff with ice and put in sleeping bag, it worked good. Now I have a butcher that has a walk in cooler.

yea, anything above 40-45 is prolly not good to hang a deer out for very long.
