Question regarding Hang-Fires in KRB w/ BH209
Hey guys,
I don't remember which forum that I read about "HANG-FIRES" with BH-209 in Kniight Rolling
Block rifles. I just purchased a Blue / Black model for $220 at Sportsmans Warehouse.
The question I have relates to the Breech Plug. For some reason I thought that this rifle
used a plastic jacket for the primer and that was the reason for the "Hang-Fires"; but I
discovered a breech plug designed to more or less hold / use the 209 primers directly.
For those of you who have experienced "Hang-fires" with BH209 & the KRB, is this the kind and
shape of the breech plug and Rolling Block Action that you have used?
Here's a link to my KRB breech plug pictures: http://my1.photozig.net/jascoesens/A...photopage.html

RE: Question regarding Hang-Fires in KRB w/ BH209
The issueIS the kindand shape of the breech plug and the KRB action. So far as I know, the plug you have is the only one available to KRB owners. The flame channel is long and narrow, the action closure cannot be assured with abigger flame channel. FG referenced the correct site where Big6X6 has explained the situation. There is no suitable solution available for the KRB.
