So east of the mississippi was a BS comment from him since one showed up dead.
Now it's not big news cause he now says there is no evidence here AS in PA or Ohio state. See what he does. Watch and he will try and spin it off as something he never ment. He is such a weasel.

There are only 2 people qualified to determine they was ML. One is doug and the other is Dougweasel boy. Haven't you been reading these Mountain Lion Threads to know who the only expert is in ML identification?

It's not hard for me to believe they would be in P.A. Thats a short walk from Canada for a cat.
Growing up in IL. you heard countless stories of people seeing cougars and black panthers. This was something that interested me as a young child. Now that we have had four dead cougars show up in the state I firmly believe we are close to a small breeding population. Granted that all four cats were males. 3 were young roaming males and 1 was a big male. He had probably been here for a while. They are in IL. and it's just a matter of time before there will be credible evidence in IN. and OH. as well.
As far as black panthers..... I can't say. Science tells us there is no such thing as a black cougar. Then what the hell is it? There is something out there. Way to many people have reported sightings not for there to be a large black cats roaming around. I will tell my story here. There were several reports of black cats in our county in IL. as I grew up. I had never seen one until one day I showed up at my parents and could see something black sitting in the field. What was strange was it was just sitting there and about 15 crows were above it circling around it and they were taking turns diving at it. This thing would get up and walk slowly about 20 yards and set right back down. The whole time the crows were after it hard. I could see it throught the binos and this thing was long. Had a long tail, low to the ground, probably only 2 foot off the ground. What I remember most was this thing was not jet black. It was more of a dark silver color. I got a great look at this thing as it took it about 10 min. to cover 50 yards. I'm not going to sit here and say I saw a black panther. I will say what I saw was a big cat and for some reason it had pissed off every crow in the area.

2-lunger, where was the 4th cougar hit in Illinois? I know one was found dead on the railroad tracks in Randloph County, one was found dead with an arrow in it outside of the Quad-Cities, then there was the one shot in Chicago. But I hadn't heard of a 4th one.

I've never personally seen a mountian lion, ever. Around 2004 the morning after returning from a several week trip to central Ontario my father said he had heard a cat behind the house. I thought it silly that is was something to bother comenting about. He replied it was a very large cat. Well Ive never known my father to have such a sense of humor. I was curious but left it lay.Aprox three days later channel 7 or four news out of detriot was broadcasting a 5 or ten second clip of what appeard "very clearly" a female mountian lion and two cubs walking through a soy bean field. They claimed the footage was recient ,and my return from vacation was 1st of july. The beans were about a foot tall then. It appeared the cat was about twice that at the shoulder. I live in washtenaw county mich, The footage was reportidly 45 min se in monroe mich. Also a large black bear was picked up on about 22 frames of a game camera in the middle of washtenaw county last year. to the best of my knowlage they havent been here for 140 years or so. Well just some fodder, but I like bigfoot to.
