I plan on being there. I'll bring my 41 lb secret weapon*. I might have to fall out of it from time to time, as hot as it will be.

*NO it's not my oneida. [8D]
Sounds like we have a nice little summer party! If you plan on "falling" in, maybe I should bring the video camera

You do know how to get back into one of those things, don't you?

No, it is a sad sad story. Chalk one more up for the slimies. I am beginning to wonder if their "Grass carp" problem isn't a "Catfish" problem. After we chummed out there the only thing you see is catfish; and then maybe the occasional carp. Then on the RARE occasion you might get a glimps of a scittish grassie if you are lucky [:@][:@][:@].

Oh well we will try again another day!

P.S.
I was watching Christine........she didn't fall in.......I was waitin for it!

I got really crispy. Was a tad bit warm to be out in the middle of lake staring at catfish. Lots and lots of catfish.

I did get a couple of shots at grassies. One was too far and the other spooked right as I shot.Had several swim up next to the canoe while I was sitting there. One surfaced right next to the canoe. I almost swung my paddle at it.

It was windy enough that if I stood up I became a human sail and the canoe took off for the dam. [&o] Guess I need to lose some weight and catch a little less air. [&:]

If you'd put some fish in the boat, it wouldn't blow around so easily.

I can tell you that I was there when she took those photos. They are all from McLean Co.
The guy who owns the fish on the bottom was looking a little nervous after he saw our Illinos bowfishers shirts and how intently we were watching his shar....er...."catfish".

Shark meat is good I hear. Who wants to find out?

Hey, would it be okay to bring a rod and help them folks thin out their catfish population a little? I'd love to catch a couple of them on my fly-rod. Well, maybe a few of them...
