Iwould go to cabelas.com and check their line of packs. There isactually someone on their website that you can talk to about anything in their stores or catalog.(not sure if this is 24/7).

Any of cabela's packs that are made with CT 450 plus are waterproof they make several.I have the guide model fanny pack and like it a lot.
If you have the special limited addition of their catalog on page 834 it tells about CT450 plus material.

Just got off the phone with Cabelas and the guy said the material (CT450) is waterproof but the bag itself isnt because of the zippers! He said Cabelas got a noticeabout this from the makers after the catalogs were printed. Pretty intresting ha?

I'd be interested in a water proof day pak as well. Currently have one made by Fieldline and it get's soaked big time when it rains out. You'd think that they would have several on the market by now!!

I have a fieldline pack also. I sprayed (ok soaked) it with a waterproofing spray (I think it was Camp Dryfrom Dicks). It did a good job of keeping it from soaking up a lot of water so it doesnt get heavy . I was outside most of the day and it never soaked up any water. It won't be 100% waterproof because of the zippers but not too bad for now

I have the Fieldline also. It's a nice bag but it gets soaked in the rain. I'm still looking.
