WOW!! after reading some of the stories here, I wonder if my desire to hunt them with a muzzleloader is such a good idea.. Perhaps from a tree stand.
I have been around domestic hogs (all too often in my younger years then I care to remember and not by choice most times) and know how unpredictable and mean they can get. It sounds like they can not hold a candle to these wild ones.

i took one with my bow and one with my muzzleloader, i tell you what, i'd much rather have anything but them, lol......this past season, i was walking through the marsh..i heard this hog , i stopped, sunk in the muck and it started to do that growly thing they do, i went to get my feet out so i could run just in case,lol, they wouldnt come out.you talk about freak, i freaked, lol.he started running towards me, then stopped, i knew i only had one shot, waited for him to come out but he never did....but i admit, i bout terded, lol........
