Yes it really does!! I was pretty sure I was going to die.

i've had to climb more trees than i care to think about to get away from a hog breakin bay. but the closest i've came to getting cut was when one cut the heel of my boot.

Right! Only on WMA's are they considered game! Theyhave abag limit and have to be 15" at the shoulders on some WMA's.On private property you can hunt them all year round without a bag limit or size, day or night

Correct but youshould have a current county or state hunting licence on your pocession, unless yourfather or mother own the property you're hunting on.

Not a hog hunter , but killed a big boar the other night that ticked me off.
My grampa was a hog hunter tho. He had a boar penned up that he had caught. The thing was about to tear out of the pen he had him in. He decided to take a chance and reinforce the spot the hog was breaking down. Long story short, the boar attacked him and tore him up really bad. Didn't kill him right off, but he died a few days later in 1955.

Mac, very sorry to hear the story about your grandpa!
If that boar would have been left alone with him, the boar would have ate him. Wild boars are more Omnivores than domestic pigs.
I had a large Nubian Buck that jumped the fence on the pig pen to feed on what I had fed the pigs and the pigs knocked him down and ate that sucker!

yet another reason for me to hate hogs
