I am intrigued by this new round...I don't know if I will buy one or not....it looks as if it will outperform my 8mm/06 by a measurable margin, but enought to buy a new rifle??? a new rifle ( a new rifle) Still, a new rifle....hmmmm

the 270 and 300 WSM's for sure are here to stay.

Either way, I have decided I don't need two calibers for pretty much the same purpose. This year's antelope, deer, and cow elk with the 300 wsm were no deader than last year's with the .270. Learn a caliber and stick with it - sage advice, to me.
So I'm selling or trading them both (both mid-grades) for a nice, keeper, legacy rifle. Browning or Kimber. What I can't decide is .270 win or 300 wsm.
