A friend of mine had one about 10 years ago. I guess he still has it, but he moved back home when he got off active duty. Anyway, when we would go to the range and shoot it the bench, it was amazingly accurate for a semi-auto. The only bad thing about was, with the fluted chamber, it was murder on brass, making the brass unsuitable for reloading, and it would fling brass 20'. Function was also flawless, I can't remember it ever failing to feed, extract, or eject.

I have an Hk91....(civilian model of the full auto G3 rifle)....308...Love it!!!! But love my Armalite AR-10T better. More accurate than the Hk. Or my Springfield M1-A Super Match....all 3 guns chambered in .308!!!!!

The only HK rifle I've ever shot was one of the newer ones that looks like a gray plastic space rifle chambered in .223. I can't remember the name of it, but it was a real hoot.
