Been carrying for a few years and haven't had any situatons where I needed to use it. I would not hesitate to defend myself and or my family though.

People who have had to use one usually do not like to talk about it.( if they normal) You might want to read some of the books by Masaud AYoob( SP.) one is titled 'IN THE GRAVEST EXTREME" .I can't think of the others right now but you might find them helpful in knowing why , when , where ,who, and the possible repercusions of your actions.
