Finally! Someone with some intellegence!! Obviously some of you guys dont receive the UA Journal, but I guess you do have to be a Union Plumber or Pipefitter to recieve it. If you was able to get it you would see in the March 2012 edition all the things that Obama has done for our country, like rescueing G.M.and Chrysler, by the way ALL auto indusrty loans have been paid back in full. He also fought against employers from missclasifing workers as "independent contractors" so they would not have to abide by state and federal laws. He closed major loop holes that previously sent jobs overseas, while helping engineer the largest middle-class tax cut in history. Income taxes for most middle class Americans are at the lowest levels since the 1950's. The list goes on and on, I have no time to sit here and try and educate the ignorant so all I can say is do your research!

I have it perfectly well.. Bushies gave those tax breaks exclaiming that there would be a trickle down affect that would help keep America going. He did not state that the trickle down tax breaks would actually help other countries while this one sinks. This country was in worse shape when Bushie Jr. left office all the while he stated nothing is wrong with this country. When Clinton left office this country was in good shape. That sure has changed from presidents that is for sure. Thanks to the trickle down affect..

Answer me one question robin hood. what do you think is going to happen when you start taxing corporations 40 or 50 percent..... let me give you a hint THEY LEAVE! why would a 100 billion dollar company continue business in the US if it is going to cost them billions of dollars a year? they won't and yes that may not be a nice thing to do to the employees but guess what we are a captialistic society and if they want to blame someone blame it on the people who made it cost effective to move a business out of the county. The whole idea of taxing the rich to pay the poor is irresponsible and just plain wrong. How about instead you spend more money and time trying to teach poor people to make their own darn money!

I love it that Dee Snyder refused to let them use his song "were Not Going To Take It". Maybe the could get ahold of 2 Live Crew and use there song "Face Down Azz up", because that is what they are going to do America.
And to answer your question, people like Romney got there money from closing down, downsizing and sending manufactoring overseas because over there they dont have to obey labor laws. They got rich off the sweat of the working man. Maybe you guys need to quit watching the propaganda that Fox News spouts off and watch a unbiased Network like CNN.

BTW companies downsize so they can cut a small percentage of employees in an effort to save the rest. Downsizing is not a thing that company owners like to do its something that they have to do to preserve the business. Not to mention I think this country could use a little downsizing itself... welfare, food stamps, social security. but your right we should just put those things out of sight and out of mind and they'll fix themselves... look how well its worked the past 3 years! maybe your the one buyin the propoganda and your mind is so clouded with the love for an american hating piece of trash that you can't even think straight... just sayin...

If it wasnt for unions, you would be working over 40 hrs. a week with no overtime pay, no benifits and minimum wage would be about $3 hr. We would not have any labor laws to protect the working man, but hey I guess there are people that are willing to work for nothing.

First off I am salaried so I do work over 40 hours a week, I don't get overtime, and I have worked since I was in the eighth grade and never made anything close to minimum wage.
I am not disagreeing with you. Unions did some great things for this country and they are a necessary to keep the power equally split between labor and managment. but just like affirmative action it's gone too far. 100 years ago they had a reason to constantly be unhappy with how much they worked, how hard they worked, and how little they were getting paid but they don't have that argument anymore. That is why even though I may not like unions in this day and age I still respect their heritage.
