Default Help me decide

I've been eyeballing two particular gun models for my next purchase, the Remington 700 VTR or the Model 7 Predator. The caliber will be in 22-250 and will be used exclusively as a coyote gun. Of the two, which do you like the best and feel will suit my needs?

Be a Man. ,,,, ask your wife.
Both good guns, If you ever wanted to sell, Remington would be the easyest to get rid of.

If you're planning to do a lot of walking, such as from setup to setup, the model 7 would be lighter & handier to carry. You're going to be doing more carrying than shooting, and while the skinny barrel is sometimes finicky to get to shoot good, once it does, it WILL shoot just as good as a model 700. Just experiment with bedding, forend pressure vs free floating, and different loads/working up load.

Personally I've never went yote hunting with anything else since I started shooting them with my AR. It REALLY makes for a good yote rifle-offering great accuracy, fairly light weight even with "bull" barrel, and is OUTSTANDING for multiple yotes like if a pack comes in or passes thru, followup shots, and running shots. My AR is truly the funnest rifle I've EVER used for yotes. I used nothing but bolt actions for years and years, and when I finally did start using AR on yotes, kicked myself in butt for not trying it sooner.
