rifle basix triggers and ram-line stocks
Does anybody have any experience with the Rifle Basix triggers? Thinking of getting one. They have a warranty, and a good price. Also, how about Ram-Line stocks? Any comments on them?

I put a Rifle Basics in one of my 700 Rems a few years ago to see if I liked it over the factory trigger, which is easily adjusted. It works just fine, and was easy to install. Breaks like fine crystal.

Good to go on the trigger, I personaly would avoid the stock, very cheaply made, also, if you have a heavy recoil now, it will probably feel twice as bad with a ram-line, like I said, cheaply made.

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered the trigger. Might look into the Bell and Carlson stocks.I dont really need the stock, but y'all know how we like tinkering with our toys, and Ifigured it would be better than trying to paint the one thats on it camo.

I was doing a 98 Mauser a few years back and put a Ram line stock on it. It took3 tries to get one that wasn't whorped. One was so bad the barrel would hardly fit the barrel channel. The fit wasn't all that great and had to bed the whole action and then free floated the barrel by removing the bedding under the barrel. Won't buy anouther one!!!! Zeak

There are very few complete drop in stocks, most need some work to fit properly. I had to remove some from the barrel channel to fit the Boyd's stock.

Almost always the case....
