SWThomas, I envy your dedication to your boss, but if you should ultimately find that your boss was indeed an Aribic Muslam that fooled the majority of the voters ( and I suspect that is the case) would you turn your weapon on American citizens trying to defend our constitutional rights?
That is the question on many american citizen's minds. And we know that anyone who has enough balls to take a stand against the government will be labeled a terrorist and marked for death.
I'm going to do my 1 little vote tomorrow, but I fear it's not going to be nearly enough to save our second amendment.

I wouldn't have to. The military doesn't get involved with domestic operations. Law Enforcement agencies would handle that. Posse Comitatus prevents that from happening.

Second, how can the guy be a Muslim and a Christian at the same time? Either he's a radical Muslim... or... he's the guy that sat in Rev Wright's radical Christian church for 20 years. You can't have it both ways. Either way he's still a radical, but on only one denomination. Not both.

So what if he was an Arab-American Muslim. He is still an American citizen, born in Kansas for god's sake. Every bit as much of an American citizen as a white Bapist born in small town Georgia. All this hate and stupid bigotry based on stereotypes really pisses me off. Everytime I hear stuff like this it's always from someone who has never met either a Arab or even a Muslim for that matter..... it makes you sound like you have an IQ smaller than your show size.

Questioning the man's liberal viewpoint is one thing but questioning his patriotism is way out of bounds.

Popeye,just because someone is an american citizen DOESN'T mean they'll be good president material. The fact of the matter is that ALL his personal beliefs matter and are personal no more if that citizen is running for president. We SHOULD be concerned because he's a muslim FIRST (according to their faith),and american SECOND. The facts that he used koran to swear in senator's office instead of the bible should bother you. Also the fact that he don't honor the american flag,veterans,or the star bangled banner SHOULD bother everybody that enjoys/embraces our lifestyle and freedoms!
P S -I've "met" many non americans and for darn sure feel NO reason to convert.

But if my fears are right you too will regret this day and what it bears for our great nation. But for now I'll just ask you to pray for me and a little bit for my country, for I'm willing to die for it!

Obama is not Muslim, he's Christian so everyone's concern about that is unfounded. You can't infer someone's religious beliefs based on their name. However, even if he was, saying that you will not vote for someone based solely on religion is short sighted. IMO it's like saying you will not vote for someone because he's Catholic orProtestant or Jewish or Buddhist or whatever....it's just racism by another name.

Also, I think that questioning anyone's patriotism is off limits unless you have some real facts, not he said, she said stuff.
If there had been any real facts don't you think John McCain , the Republican Party or certainly Hillary(she's likes to play smear politics)would have brought it to light by now.

Like I said, disagree with Obama's policies or position on issues all you like. I don't agree with him onmost thingseither but using religious or patriotic smear tactics is a low class way of doing things.

It's NOT "low class" when we question the intent of the man that's now the most powerful person in the "free" world. The facts of the matter is that he DON'T respect the flag,WON'T honor the pledge of allegience OR the star bangled banner! That SHOULD be everybody's concern.

It would be like prohibition if it ever did happen. Except in prohibition the only bad thing is that organized crime went up and alcholism was lowered alittle. If they tried to take away firearms the military would have one hell of a time trying to scronge up enough counter snipers to deal with one state let alone the entire union.

In france during WW2 there was a few resistant cells that rained hell on germans snipers, and officers alike.

All i am saying is that any educated person will never argue that they would ever try to take our firearms by force because of the loss of innocent life would be insainly high.

Will it be harder to get a gun and ammo in four years yes. Is that a problem, yes. Can we really change that now, NO.

All i can say is support our country the best you can. The second amendment was put in the constitution for this reason. To defend against all enemies foreign and domestic.
