Thanks Paul,just was wondering .It is coming up on Turkey Shoot season around here .Always looking for a little advantage.# 8s or #9s @ 60 to 90 feet depending on the shoot.

Swamp, you really need to try different loads and different chokes to see what patterns best in your gun. Some will prefer one thing over another just like a rifle. Some turkey shoots make you shoot their shells, so be aware of that.

You can shoot it thru the barrel but long term the plastic and lead residue might be a bit much to clean up.
Didn't kill a truckload because where I lived did not have liberal gun seasons..2 deer a year max but it was a deer folder supreme.
I've never tried buckshot out of a rifled barrel, but I've killed a few truckloads of deer with buckshot out of a smooth barrel...It's deadly, just have to know what you are doing...
