I've HAD two Tikkas. Notice the tense? Great triggers for sure though. The 25-06 was a shooter, but I did not like the safety. The 270WSM looked great (laminated satinless) but had some issues. They now both reside in new homes. One went towards a Kimber, one towards a Swaro scope. Oh well, feces occurs.

I also had 2 Tikkas. Notice the past tense there as well....
The one I shot the barrel out of after 3500 rounds.
The other was a T3 Varmint in 223, and I couldn't get it to shoot the lighter weight bullets up to my standards, so I pawned that off for a Savage. [8D]
BTW - The Savage shoots everything in tighter groups than that T3 Varmint.

I had a T3 Lightin 270 WSM. When my dad passed, I inherited his guns. So I gave this oneto my cousin, because although I like the gun.. Just didn't like the barell length. Made the gun too long for my likes.. Plus my cousin needed a good deer rifle.. Still wish I had it back..

What Caliber?
Did you imbibe a few before you pulled that one off ? Trade aTikka for a Savage.. I looked at a few Savages on Saturday and not a one and I mean not a one felt like much.
Yeah but it's still a Thavage

the Thavage leaves alot to be desired cosmetically, and the stock on it is pretty much worthless. I'm going to be giving the stock a serious bedding job this summer, and then the whole thing is going under the spray paint. Its my truck/tractor beater gun, and my coyote calling gun on windy days.
Heck, this morning when I was checking fields, I spyed myself a coyote, lasered it at 477 yards, then dusted him in his tracks with the Thavage.
