The other was a T3 Varmint in 223, and I couldn't get it to shoot the lighter weight bullets up to my standards, so I pawned that off for a Savage
Did you imbibe a few before you pulled that one off ? Trade aTikka for a Savage.. I looked at a few Savages on Saturday and not a one and I mean not a one felt like much.
BTW - The Savage shoots everything in tighter groups than that T3 Varmint

My Tikka with the shot out barrel was a 243.
the Thavage leaves alot to be desired cosmetically, and the stock on it is pretty much worthless. I'm going to be giving the stock a serious bedding job this summer, and then the whole thing is going under the spray paint. Its my truck/tractor beater gun, and my coyote calling gun on windy days.
Heck, this morning when I was checking fields, I spyed myself a coyote, lasered it at 477 yards, then dusted him in his tracks with the Thavage.
