I did some horse trading and ended up with a NIB 2003 model Savage Model 12BVSS-S in .308 Win. It had been in the dealers stock for some time, but not too many people in this area want a single shot bolt gun. I couldn't find any dies or brass for it, so I have to wait for Midway to deliver....It sure is a heavy gun, but it's designed for the bench.

I have that same gun in 22-250 and you've got a real shooter there. You will be amazed at the out of box accuracy. Good luck, and have fun reloading for it you're in for a treat.
