AR-15 Accuracy
#22
Spring for a box of Black Hills match ammo- it will give you a pretty good idea of your rifle's accuracypotential, you might be pleasantly suprised.
I wouldn't judge the quality or accuracy of any rifle by shooting milsurp or worse yet, Wolf ammo.

I do have a 20 inch barrel BushMaster, and the barrel is chrome lined. I only shoot Federal American Eagle in the rifle. I do not feel qualified to speak of the types of ammo you guys are speaking of. My Federal ammo shoots 2 to 3 inch groups at 100 yards off the bench. Not impressive, but not bad for general shooting. Since I bought my RR I have put the Bushy away in the vault. I have not shot any of the Federal in the RR yet. I have been spending all my time in the ground hog fields with RR, and it is a blast to hunt with.
I got a real deal on a bunch of Federal American Eagle a few years back. So I really stocked up. Right now I am stocking up on Black Hills ammo-I am looking for another up tick in ammo prices.
I worked in the fireams industry in the 80's and 90's. There was alot of surplus ammo showing up back then. It was suppose to be this or that---but it normally ended up being something different(bad stuff). I got a bad taste in my mouth for the surplus ammo. We ruined two Garands with some surplus Turkish ammo.
The only surplus I trust is White Box Lake City .308. I am sure there is other god stuff out there, but I am not qualified to talk about it. Tom.

I don't have a Bushy but I do have a 16" Rock River with a chrome lined barel. I also have an EOTech on mine, and I cannot get the accuracy some people claim to get when shooting that sight. I have mounted a scope on my Rock River and it shoots all the cheap ammo very well. I've never really tried too hard to shoot groups with the EOTech, but when I sighted it in I could put them all in a softball sized group.
I'm just going to take a wild guess its the sight making you think its innacurrate.
PS - I've never heard anything bad about Bushmaster, and I've never even heard of KNIGHT (THE GOD OF ARS)
