What is the pinwheel? Thats when you hit them a little low and the force of the impact throws them spinning in the air . While they are spining all mater of blood and guts are blown out. Kind of reminds me of those fireworks that you nail to a post that spin around and shoot flames only gorier. Its classic!
I like shooting the 221 FB, 20 VT, 17MIV ... because muzzle rise is almost nonexistant. But I bet a good magna porting would fix you up as well
