The brake is only there to allow the rifle to remain on target with out the shooter needing tohold down the forearm sothat youcan see the pink mist when the bullet impacts the dog.
That pink mist line makes me smile. I know its not politically correct but..... I much prefer what we have lovinly named the "PINWHEEL".
What is the pinwheel? Thats when you hit them a little low and the force of the impact throws them spinning in the air . While they are spining all mater of blood and guts are blown out. Kind of reminds me of those fireworks that you nail to a post that spin around and shoot flames only gorier. Its classic!
I like shooting the 221 FB, 20 VT, 17MIV ... because muzzle rise is almost nonexistant. But I bet a good magna porting would fix you up as well
