None of the replies suprise me at all. I have a 7600 in 30/06 that is an absolute tack driver. It shoots cheap Remington Core Lokt 150 grainers intotiny little groups. It also prints 165's with tremendous consistency. The 7600 is easily one of the most overlooked centerfires on the market. Mine is no freak either. As the previous postsindicate, I have yet to see one that won't shoot. I've had the opportunity to shoota number of other 7600's owned by friends. A 35 Whelan, a .270 a .260 a .308 and several other 06's. They all shoot better than they should.

I bought a 7600 in 308 this summer, it didn't dissapoint, I broke its cherry with 2 caribou in northern Quebec less than a month ago.

I have a 760 in 308 carbine.

tack driver.....1 inch groups all day with any ammo..... 150 or 165 , 180 grain ,...it does not matter. the gun just shots.

people at the range look at me like I am a sniper.. I tell them it is the gun not me
