Which 32 are you speaking of? 32H&R Mag is a small powerhouse and I wouldn't hesitate carrying. If you are speaking of the 32 auto or 32 S&W Long I would move up some.I would take the 22 mag over the 32 auto and 32S&W Long. The 22 mag will do allot more damage compared to the 32's.I don't care for the 32's 380 and I'm really not to fond of the 9mm for that matter. In auto's I like the 40 S&W or 45ACP, Glock makes compacts in those calibers. In revolvers a 38spl(+ P rated)as a minimum. Ruger Redhawk

It's big enough. Just hit where you need to hit. People may say "oh its ONLY a 32auto" But put two shots through someones chest and one in their head, they won't know the difference between it and a 44mag.

if you ahve to pull the gun on somebody chances are you are chaking like a leaf and really wont make that great of a shot...i rather have atleast a 9mm on me..but if your not one to shot to kill then maybe you want something small to put them down but not dead..i think id be one to shot to kill if i had to...and you get hit with a 45 in the chest i doubt i will have to worry about you getting out of jail to kill me or anything...just my thoughts...i think something bigger is needed being i doubt you can make a really good shot under all that...

If one *had* to use a .32 ACP, then a look at the KelTec P-32 is in order....very light, reliable, and about $279 retail at the local hardware store.

Personally, I feel a .32 is certainly better than nothing, but a 9mm would be better, and a .45 ACP even better yet. :-)

if you really want to stay with the small package consider a small revolver in 38spl, or a 380 which would be better.
