Default New Carry gun

I have several guns that I carry at times but finally decided to pick up a small auto that I can carry regardless of season or wardrobe. I picked up a new Bersa Thunder 380. I got a 100 pack of 90 Gr.FMJ and a fifty pack of WW 85 grain silver tips. The 380 is right around the same for one shot stops as the 38 Special and gives you eight rounds per Magazine. Most times I will carry the 45 or the Ultralite 44 Mag but this one can go anywhere with me.

I used to see them around but have not seen one for several years. I had a little Astra 380 some years back but gave iot to my daughter when she worked nights. She won't give it back.. The little Bersa is about the same thing. I have not shot it yet.

I have the Kel-Tec in 380, and it's as small as I would ever need to pack,I think it weighs 7 oz when empty but don't hold me to that. Glenn

If you want the ultimate carry semiauto, check out the rohrbaugh 9mm. Extremely compact, light, and relibable.
2.8" barrel,12.8 ounces unloaded.

Well, James, I think you made a good choice. I have been carrying a S&W Sigma .380 for a number of years. It certainly is no target gun, but for close encounters, I feel comfortable with it.

Who's counting? I have read mixed reviews on that manufacturer. Is it working good for ya James?
