Default 25WSSM

For some reason I am intrigued to buy into this round. I was just wondering if anyone has one, and what kind of experiences you have had with it? I really have no use for the caliber, I already have 2 243's, 1 308, 1 300 Savage, 1 7mm Rem Mag, 1 7.5x55 Swiss, 3 Ruger 10/22s, a H&R 22mag, and some others.

I reloaded my buddies 270WSM last week, and I got to thinking, I don't own a gun in .25 caliber yet.......Like I said, still no use for the gun, but I think it'd make a nice, lightweight, deer gun/yote gun.

I love the 25's but after trying them all, I prefer the 25-06 for all around performance.

I've heard good and bad aboutt his round. It's as powerful as a 25-06, but in a much shorter action. You have to be real careful about the overall length of the cartridge, if it's a hair too long it might not feed right. I've never had any personal experience with this cartridge but they don't burn up barrels much faster than any other cartridge, regardless of what some people say.
