Thats ok. They just never showed me anything. I never owned a 375 H&H but I have a lot of miles on My uncles Win. Model 70 Safari in 375 H&H I like the authority with which it speaks. At least I did before the shoulder went to pot.[:@]I used my 338's for about four years but found myself leaving them home in favor of my 700 Classic 300 Win Mag. I used to load the old 250 Grain Barnes Bullets in the 300 Win Mag for the big stuff. Now the 6.5 x55 is much more gentle to the shoulder. I do still shoot the 30-06 & 308 sparingly. The 45-70 brings tears on occasion but I can't give it up.

It's a good general purpose round. It's only downside is it can be difficult to handload.

Are you saying the 300 Win Mag can be difficult to reload? If so, in what way?

It's as good a round as any for North America. Great all around caliber. You'll love it. They can kick a little though, if you dont handle recoil well geta break put on.
